If you couldn’t tell from my last post, I’m just a little bit excited for fall (sarcasm, obviously). But, fun fact about Maggie Royce: I don’t like halloween. At all. I have an irrational fear of all things horror plus I can’t eat candy. I specifically avoid the halloween sections of any store, even if that means taking the long route. I’m the last girl to go into a haunted house, never have been and really don’t want to. And I’ve always hated people in character/masks, I’m unsure why but ever since I was super little that’s my huge fear.
Something my mom did herself in high school was a tradition of “boo”-ing, where you drop something sweet/silly off at someone’s house and ding-dong ditch. We’ve done it every year I can remember and it is one of the only things I look forward to, halloween related.
This year I decided to boo some of the people who really helped make homecoming a success and it’s a super fun way to say thank you. And to make things super fun I made a short video of making them. This year I just filled the “bags” (bins?) with candy and cookies but some years we go all out and put tons of silly stuff.

My parent’s neighborhood “boos” each other and everyone I have ever encountered had never heard of it. I started it in my old office and it was fun to see everyone’s Halloween decor up that they received. Jess at Just Jess
