At my church we refer to seasons of normal life as “ordinary days.” They’re the days when life is just consistently life. And this is going to sound bad, there’s not much to really write when I’m in the “ordinary days.”  I’m a third quarter (almost 4th!!!) senior who wears the same rotation of dress code outfits who sits in class for the majority of her day and works a lot of her afternoons. Life is good and simple and not crazy, which is peaceful but there’s not too much to blog about. It doesn’t mean life isn’t good, it’s just not crazy.

So where have I been? When I’m not working my two jobs (yes I know I’m crazy) or have my nose in my AP Statistics textbook I’ve had some fun!

January was fun with Passion & Deb ball (be sure to check those recap posts! The rest of the month brought my last high school rivalry night, which if you’ve been around here you’ll know that is very intense & fun!

February included a lot of laughing in between a lot of studying AP Statistics (sad but so true!!!) We had some silly nights with friends and a Galentines day celebration ft. cupcakes & crafts. We also celebrated my best friend’s birthday with cookie cake & I had my last ever cotillion ball, which has been an influential part of my life since the 5th grade. My family spontaneously decided to go visit my grandma in Florida which I’d planned to use as time to blog but instead really cherished the very peaceful quiet time with family. I returned home to #enditmovement day which is near and dear to my heart! After hearing about #endit at Passion this past year I was so inspired by all of the different movements to end slavery that I loved getting to participate! The rest of my time was spent studying, applying for scholarships & dorm planning!!

I’ve really loved these “ordinary days” and I know these last few quiet weeks are getting me ready for all of the Senior year craziness ahead.
