Hi! My name is Maggie Royce, lover of dance parties, gluten-free baked treats & storytelling. I am a rising Junior at Wofford College, in Spartanburg, SC studying English with a Digital Media concentration & Business.

My journey on the internet began back in 2008 when eight-year-old me somehow started a blog. A few of my precarious posts gained some attention and the next thing I knew I had gained a following as well as a love for digital content creation. This led me to write for major print publications, including Seventeen Magazine and Girls Life Magazine. Additionally, it has also lead to partnerships with both large corporations and small start-ups, including T.J. Maxx, Target, and Coach to develop content for their social channels.

This passion has grown as well as my skills as I now love writing & editing, photography, graphic design, and Google Analytics research.

My journey brought me to Wofford College where I am a Launch Entrepreneurial Scholar in Wofford’s Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. This 4-year program offers an incubational hub for students to cultivate companies while having networking and collaborative opportunities. I have used my time in the program to serve as a marketing manager, assisting student-led companies in media development. For the past two years, I have led the Global Entrepreneurship Week’s Women in Entrepreneurship panel, hosting eight strong female entrepreneurs on campus for a discussion and dinner. In the program, I also have been developing a podcast focused on young adult women in the entrepreneurial world.

I have also expanded my skills and worked as the Digital Media Manager for the Wofford College Men’s Basketball team. This has allowed a large expanse in skills working with ESPN, the NCAA, the Southern Conference Tournament and March Madness to develop D1 basketball media content as our team excelled.

Last summer I helped as a Copywriter intern for EHolmes of “So Many Thoughts” developing website content & researching for her upcoming book. Elizabeth developed the “SMT” brand which has now been nominated for many Webby awards. I stepped in to help monetize her pages, develop newsletter content, and assist in research for her upcoming book.

During the pandemic, I have worked as a marketing assistant for Fusion3Designs 3D Printers working on internal and external communications resources. My work has included working to develop internal communications support documentation, managing newsletter campaigns, video content, and developed marketing materials.

When I am not working away at my computer, I love baking treats with friends, good books, serving with my college ministry, and spin classes. I would love to chat about ways to help your brand or work on any future projects! Contact me here.
